Barrage Game 6 (vs Rochester 6-21-08)

The Barrage (3-2) will reach the MLL's midseason this weekend when they travel to Cary, North Carolina for a rematch with the Rochester Rattlers (3-2) Saturday evening. Faceoff at WakeMed Soccer Park is at 7:30. The game will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet.

History

The Barrage will look to avenge their loss to Rochester on May 31 when the Rattlers handed the Barrage their first loss of 2008 22-9. The Barrage are 5-12 all time against Rochester.

Last Week

The Barrage ended a two game losing streak with an ovrtime win over the Chicago Machine in St. Louis last Saturday. Trailing 11-9 with less than three minutes to play regulation, the Barrage got goals from Mike Springer and Roy Colsey to tie the game, Colsey's score coming with five seconds left to play. Seth Goldberg then scored his third goal of the game 1:42 into OT to give the Barrage the victory. Brian Dougherty made 18 saves to earn Game MVP honors. Rochester dropped their second straight game when New Jersey came away with a 16-12 win at PAETEC Park Saturday.
