Barrage Game 5 (vs. Chicago 6-14-08)

The Barrage (2-2) will seek to rediscover their winning ways when they face the Chicago Machine (1-3) at the Anheuser-Busch Center in St. Louis Saturday night. Faceoff is at 6 PM. The game will be shown on June 15 at 7:30 PM on Comcast Sportsnet.

History

The Barrage and Machine have met just once on June 10, 2006. After falling behind 11-3 early in the third quarter, the Barrage rallied behind three goals from Roy Colsey, including the overtime winner, to defeat Chicago 13-12. Brian Dougherty made 31 saves for the Barrage that evening while Kevin Leveille was one of four Machine players to score two goals.

Last Game

The Barrage fell to their second straight defeat at Long Island 22-12 last Thursday. The Barrage trailed 10-9 midway through the third quarter when the Lizards scored the next seven goals as part of a 12-2 run to finish the game. Seth Goldberg and Mike Springer each tallied three goals for the Barrage. Chicago lost at San Francisco 15-14 in overtime on Saturday night.

Notes

The Barrage's Matt Striebel and Chicago's Kevin Leveille are among six players tied for seventh with 15 points.

Chicago's Mike Gabel leads all MLL goalies with almost 241 minutes played.
