After being eliminated from making the National Lacrosse League playoffs, the Philadelphia Wings (4-10) will look to end their season on a positive note starting with their final road game of 2010 when they travel to St. Paul, Minnesota to face the Swarm (5-9). Faceoff Saturday night at Xcel Energy Center is at 8:35 and the game can be seen live on the NLL Network.
History
The Wings are 6-7 all time vs Minnesota including this season's previous meeting, a 20-11 Wings victory on March 13 at the Wachovia Center. On the road the Wings are 2-4 and have lost three straight at Xcel Energy Center.
Last Week
The Wings jumped out to a 6-1 lead after the first quarter but could not hold the lead, eventually falling to the Rochester Knighthawks 15-12 last Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena. The Swarm lost twice last weekend, falling Friday at home to Rochester 12-11 before losing at Boston on Saturday 13-8.
